NetEase.com (NTES) is Consolidating,

But Remains an Internet Leader

I've discussed on many occasions the fact that stocks tend to lose relative strength vs. their peers and the S&P 500 when consolidation takes place. That hasn't really been the case for NetEase.com (NTES) though. Yes, it's consolidating, but it's also remaining fairly close to its relative highs. That's an encouraging sign to me as I believe NTES is poised to have a strong 2nd half of the year:

From a bullish perspective, traders want to see a definitive close above 500 - and a surge in volume would add confirmation. In the meantime, we'll just sit back and wait. Note in all the bottom panels that NTES is moving higher from left to right. That's the configuration you want to see in stocks that you own in your portfolio. This is exactly how relative strength leaders perform. They lead.
