It wasn't too long ago that I said I'd avoid Amazon.com (AMZN). I needed to see its relative strength pick up and see an absolute breakout. Not only was AMZN struggling among its peers, but the entire broadline retail group ($DJUSRB) couldn't seem to break free from its lengthy relative downtrend vs. the benchmark S&P 500. Well, that's all changed and AMZN's blowout quarterly earnings report is now setting the stock up
for a major rally in my view:
