Narrowing Our ChartLists To The Best Of The Best
We do a lot of research for our members at EarningsBeats.com. We then organize this research in "ChartLists", one of the features of the StockCharts.com platform. I consider these ChartLists to also be Watch Lists. 3 of our more popular ChartLists include our Strong Earnings ChartList (SECL), which tracks all companies that beat Wall
Street revenue and EPS estimates in their most recent quarter, so long as they meet minimum liquidity requirements and technical conditions are either solid or improving - in my opinion. A second ChartList is our Strong AD ChartList (SADCL), which we update periodically to include stocks with above average relative strength AND also has an uptrending AD line (accumulation/distribution line). Finally, there's a Raised Guidance ChartList (RGCL), which provides us exactly what its name
implies - companies that have raised either revenue or EPS guidance (or both) within the last 60-90 days. Each of these 3 ChartLists have hundreds of companies represented on them. We developed a 4th ChartList - our Bullish Trifecta ChartList (BTCL) - based off of the other 3. If a company is included in the SECL, SADCL, and RGCL (must be ALL 3), then it makes the cut and is included in our BTCL. There are currently 59 companies on this ChartList. Any
EarningsBeats.com member that is also an Extra or Pro member at StockCharts can update their own BTCL by selecting the SECL, SADCL, and RGCL from their own StockCharts.com account and run a scan against all three lists. It will return stocks that are on these 3 ChartLists. In my StockCharts.com account, this is how my scan looks:
